This notice explains how I handle personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, known in Poland as RODO) when you contact me through this website. The data controller is Kamil Nowak. You can contact me at contact@nowakkamil.com.

Data I collect and why

The contact form collects your name, email address, and message so that I can review and respond to your enquiry. I process this data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract where relevant.¹ Otherwise, I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.²

Providing this information is voluntary, but I cannot respond through the form without it. I do not use contact-form data for marketing or automated decision-making.

Service providers and transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting and abuse protection. Its Turnstile service processes technical and security signals, including your IP address and browser information, to distinguish legitimate users from automated traffic. Resend handles email delivery, and my email service provider receives and may store the resulting message. Cloudflare and Resend process data in connection with providing their services; where they act as processors, they process personal data on my behalf. Website and form security and abuse prevention are based on my legitimate interest in protecting this site and my communications.²

Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely, as applicable, on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where required. You can contact me for further information about the mechanisms and safeguards used.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, normally no longer than 12 months after our last correspondence. Relevant information may be kept longer if an enquiry leads to a professional relationship or where required for legal, contractual, tax, or claims purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask me to:

• give you access to your personal data;
• correct or delete it;
• restrict or object to its processing; or
• provide data you supplied in a portable format.

You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland or with the supervisory authority where you live or work.

Cookieless analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service, for aggregate traffic and performance analytics. It does not use analytics cookies, connect analytics to details submitted through the contact form, or build advertising profiles. I use it on the basis of my legitimate interest in understanding and improving site performance.²
